Product Pipeline
The first Vestaron products to reach the marketplace will be SV peptides themselves that are being developed as environmentally benign insecticides for specific markets. Vestaron has identified several potential candidates that are currently being tested for efficacy and safety. Vestaron has developed a cost-effective fermentation process and a formulation suitable for market commercialization. The company expects to market the first of these products for agricultural markets during 2012. Additionally, Vestaron scientists have demonstrated that genetically modified plants expressing a peptide derived from spider venom display insecticidal properties.
